Rules & policies

Our rules are pretty straight forward and easy to follow. Which means that no one should have any problems keeping straight. Most offenses will be handled on a case by case basis but keep in mind that if you are constantly causing trouble then something small may just be the last straw.

1) General conduct.
  • Don't be a douchbag. Pretty self explanatory imo.
  • If you say you're going to do something then DO IT.
  • Keep foul language to a minimum during peak hours. Remember that kids play this game too. This rule also applies to trade chat, general chat, yelling in org, etc.
  • No text/item spam. Its annoying and everyone knows it. If its not helpful or asked for don't link it please. This includes damage meters.
  • No ninja applying to other guilds. If you don't want to be here then why are you here?
  • NO BIGOTRY!!! I can't stress this enough. If you've ever been scolded for bigotry then you pretty much just missed the gkick block. Racism, religious intolerance, sexism, homophobia and heterophobia WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED BY THE LEADERSHIP AT ANY TIME. You are entitled to your opinions and may relay them as such but proceed with extreme caution as the line between opinion and bigotry is barely there to begin with, let alone with the common MT syndrome(misinterpreting text syndrome).

2) Raid conduct.

The following rules are in place because it takes people to raid. For us as a casual guild it takes more than most. ALWAYS keep in mind that by not adhering to the following rules there's a good chance you might be wasting the time and/or ruining the fun for 24(or more) other people.
  • Sign up. As late, as absent or what ever the case may be let us know so we may plan our raids before we are supposed to be pulling. It takes less than 5 minutes to sign up for the week on a sat or Sunday. If you don't know your schedule for the week by the end of the weekend than maybe the life of a wow raider is not for you.
  • Focus. Don't watch tv, don't crank your music so you can't hear vent and don't alt-tab. If you're bored then maybe you should go do something that's not boring. If you need to alt-tab for something relevant(strats or items or the like) then say so. If someone whacks you for being afk at ready check then don't say you weren't warned. Note: there's a handy little check box in your sound options called "Sound in background" which basically plays wow sounds while minimized so you'll hear the ready check go off.
  • Mind your assignment. Everyone else is trusting you with your assignment so return the favor and trust everyone else with theirs.
  • Please do not send the raid leader tells unless in response. Most of the time between 6:30 and 12:30 the RL is very busy. Thoughts, comments, criticism and ideas are welcome but through the proper lines of communication. When possible keep things as public as you can. Role/class leaders, class channels and raid chat are the lines everyone is asked to use.
  • Going afk without telling anyone is just not ok. This may seem ridiculous, which it is and more to every degree. Please don't do this or we bbq you.
